Kimbo vs Cantrell at the EliteXC: Renegade show, 2007.
The bell chimes and Kimbo walks directly toward Bo Cantrell. They engage and Cantrell fakes a jab which ruins his following spinning backfist as Kimbo backs up. Kimbo stalks Cantrell around the cage, Cantrell delivers a modest low kick, backing up against the cage wall. Kimbo moves in and throws a big hook the body, Cantrell doubles over leaving his head exposed. Kimbo supplies a big elbow or forearm blow to Cantrell’s head and the ref steps in, stopping the fight. Kimbo Slice wins at 0:19 of the first round.

I dont think its fixed. Cantrell took the fight on short notice and had no time to prepare. He was just unprepared and scared. Plus, he previous 4 fights he also lost in the first round, including a 5 second KO. So this fight doesnt stand out as a fix- makes perfect sense actually.

I agree with Brad, I took a look at Bo Cantrells record. The dude has good track record of dipping in the first round of fights. But I do belive that it was calculated. Yeah he was a last minute fill-in, but come on now, I am sure there were other fighters who would have gladly taken the fight. I just think he was selected simply because his shoddy record.

I just think its funny that people talk so much shit on the gannon fight saying kimbo wouldn’t last against a experienced ffa fighter, Kimbos going to rock the ffa industry, at this point hes got enough physical and logical training to take him to the top, people have compared him to a young Mike Tyson of boxing, i think he will be equally famous for his ffa career.

Kimbo has not fought anyone that you would call a real fighter.He fights bums on the street or has beens such as Tank Abbott,he would not stand against most Irish bare knuckle fighters in fact Sean Gannon beat him and he is not in the big league of Irish street fighters.Most of the UFC light heavy or heavy weights would put him in his place like Da Silva,chuck liddel,randy couture or Jackson no probs.

Aww damn… all these catz dissin on Kimbo, but I don’t think i have seen them making any noise… fighting “bums” or anyone else. Here’s a thought… go around your home town/province/village/sandlot/whatevathafuck… and kick some ass on video, post it and wait to see what response you get.

Concerning those that have REAL viable opinions… you do pose a strong argument. Kimbo’s opponents have been rather lackluster to say the least… perhaps he will get better fights in time… we will have to see.

kimbo needs to fight somebody that is in shape enough to even lift their arms..much less throw them..hes a bitch..he only fights with complete BUMS
