Here’s a video where Kimbo and his crew hit up the gym and Kimbo works the heavy bag a little. Look at him throw an elbow in there! Didn’t see that coming!
He weighs in at 252 which is lighter than usual.
Rumor is Kimbo’s planning to take it to the ground against Mercer in June, even though he’s said he wants to bang it out standing. Do you think he can handle Mercer in straight-up boxing?

Kimbo has some skills, more than the opponents he’s fought on the internet. However, 5-1 against tub’s of fat with egos, in back yards and basements, are a far cry from a true heavy weight fighter. Let’s see some video of him sparring with top ten contender’s as he prepares for Mercer W 34 (25 ko’s) | L 6 | D 1 | Total 41. (Mercer’s sparred 400 - 500 times with real fighters.) He’ll see every elbow coming. Will Kimbo? The Gracie’s never turn down a challenge match. Hey, I got a novel idea! Beat Klitschko and he’s an instant millionaire. It’s that easy. If Kimbo wins, he beat an old man. If he loses, I guess someone else will take his place on the internet.

After watching the Kimbo Slice / Sean “The Cannon” Gannon fight again, Mercer will drop him. Kimbo had trouble taking body shots. Mercer will hit him harder and faster than he’s ever been hit before.

Kimbo is very skilled yes and i really enjoy watching him.

Yes Kimbo has the strenght but does he have the stamina to last against a Pro Boxer.

now i aint hatin on ray mercer. but why do people have to talk shit. ray mercer is a good boxer and kimbo is a good fighter, to be honest, i think it will be even. ray mercer doesnt fight on the ground and we will see how he does. but telling from the gannon/kimbo video. kimbo can fight on the ground too. he did a nice legsweep and pummeled him with faceshots. there should be a rematch just because gannon cheated. its supposed to be a bare fist stand up fight. once someone is down, no hitting. no knees, elbows, MMA moves. just fists. yet gannon put him an a guillotine hold for like 2 minutes. so kimbo had every right to take him down and hit him on the ground to get even.

Kimbo is a bad man, no doubt about it, but fighting a professional is different then the local bouncer, as his protege Ray showed. Ray is bad too. He weighs 200 pounds, fought another guy that weighed the same and was built, destroyed him, and then got owned buy a local mma fighter that weighed 170 pounds. Not even a pro. As most of us know anything can happen in a MMA fight but i do believe Kinbo bit off a little more than he can chew. Mercer will win by knockout in the first round. Oh, and by the way, Gannon was at best a novice mma fighter. If even that, he only fought 2 mma fights. If Kimbo got beat by him, that is pretty bad and he would be lucky to last 45 seconds with Elite MMA fighters

kimbo wont challenge mercer to a streetfight from where he started from. toe to toe , slice goes to to hospital. mercer misrepresented his- self coming in out-of-shape & greedy for a paycheck. slice is still a killa in my mind.
